The short version
Use the site lawfully, provide accurate booking details, follow studio guidance and treat other participants with care. If a booking needs to change, contact us as early as possible.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Ateliera Studio Ltd. website, creative quiz, booking pages and art workshops delivered in person or online. By using the website or placing a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
If you book for another person, you confirm that you have their permission to provide their details and that they will be told about the terms that apply to their booking. We may update these terms when our services or legal obligations change. The version in force when you book applies to that booking.
2. Booking and payment
Workshop pages state the price, date, duration, location or online format, and any materials included. A place is reserved only when we have received the required payment and sent a booking confirmation by email.
Please check your confirmation as soon as it arrives. Tell us promptly if your name, email address or booking details are incorrect. Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be made through the payment method shown at checkout.
- You are responsible for entering accurate contact and payment information.
- We may refuse or cancel a booking where payment is incomplete, a listing contains an obvious pricing error, or a workshop must be withdrawn.
- If we cancel a workshop, we will offer a suitable transfer or return the booking payment for the cancelled session.
A booking is for the named participant unless we approve a transfer in writing. Please contact us before giving a place to someone else.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
We understand that plans change. The cancellation policy for the specific workshop appears on its booking page and forms part of your booking agreement.
| Notice received | Usual booking outcome |
|---|---|
| More than 14 days before the workshop | Transfer to another available date or a refund, less any clearly stated non-refundable charge. |
| Between 7 and 14 days before the workshop | Transfer may be available. Refunds depend on whether the place can be filled. |
| Less than 7 days before the workshop | We will try to help with a transfer. A refund is not normally available. |
These timeframes are a guide where the workshop page states a different policy. Requests must be sent to [email protected] from the email address used for the booking. The date and time we receive your request determine the applicable notice period.
If illness, travel disruption or another serious circumstance affects your attendance, tell us early. We may offer a discretionary transfer where capacity allows. We cannot guarantee a change after the stated deadline.
4. Workshop participation and conduct
Our classes are designed for learning and personal expression. Follow reasonable instructions from the tutor and take care around paint, tools, furniture and shared equipment.
- Arrive ready to begin at the time shown in your confirmation.
- Tell us in advance about access requirements, allergies or relevant material sensitivities.
- Do not attend an in-person class if you have a contagious illness.
- Keep personal belongings secure. Ateliera Studio Ltd. is not responsible for ordinary loss or damage to unattended items.
- Respect the privacy, work and personal boundaries of other participants.
We may ask a participant to leave without a refund if their behaviour is threatening, discriminatory, seriously disruptive or unsafe. We will take reasonable steps to support an accessible and welcoming studio.
5. Online workshops
Online sessions require a suitable internet connection, compatible device and a quiet working area. Technical problems on your side do not automatically create a right to a refund or repeat session, although we will consider genuine issues fairly.
Access details are personal to the booked participant. Do not share the session link, record the class or invite an unbooked person without written permission. We may pause or change an online session when a technical, safety or operational issue requires it.
6. Intellectual property and student artwork
Lesson plans, demonstrations, written guidance, reference sheets, photographs and other class materials belong to Ateliera Studio Ltd. or the relevant creator. They are supplied for your personal learning during the booked workshop.
- You may keep and display artwork you make during a class for personal use.
- You may not sell, reproduce, publish, teach from, or commercially distribute our class materials without written permission.
- You may share your own finished work, provided the post does not reveal another participant's personal details or artwork without consent.
- Copyright in your original artwork remains with you unless you agree to a separate written arrangement.
We may ask for permission to photograph or display student artwork on our website, social channels or printed materials. We will use it only after receiving clear permission. You can decline, and declining will not affect your place or treatment in a workshop.
7. Liability, health and wellbeing
Workshops involve ordinary creative activities and may include water, pigments, solvents, cutting tools or other materials identified in the class information. Use materials as instructed and stop if something causes discomfort.
Our mindful painting sessions are educational creative activities. They are not medical care, counselling or psychotherapy, and they do not diagnose, prevent or treat any health condition. Speak with a qualified health professional about personal medical or mental health concerns.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, we are responsible only for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these terms.
8. Website, creative quiz and privacy
The website and creative quiz are provided to help you explore suitable workshop formats and interests. Quiz responses are guidance, not a professional assessment or a guarantee that a particular class will meet every preference.
Do not submit information that belongs to another person without permission. We may rely on service providers for hosting, payments, booking administration and email communication. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored and handled.
You must not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, upload harmful code, scrape its content, or use the quiz to send unsolicited marketing. We may restrict access where misuse threatens the service or other users.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. The Irish courts have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a booking or service concern directly. Write to [email protected] or call +353 1 687 4521.
