Arrive and settle
A short breathing practice helps you put the day down before you pick up a brush.
Mindful painting Dublin
A quiet space to breathe, create and listen to yourself. Ateliera Studio Ltd. hosts small-group therapeutic art workshops in a serene Dublin studio, with no art experience needed.
Colour can hold a feeling when words feel too close. Our sessions focus on the act of making, so there is room to slow down without pressure.
A slower kind of studio time.
Come as you are. Leave the perfect picture behind.
The session rhythm
There is a simple shape to the evening. You can follow it closely or take a quieter route.

02
Explore tone, texture and movement through open-ended painting prompts. There is no correct result.
03
Your facilitator offers options, materials and calm prompts while you decide what feels right.
04
An optional sharing circle closes the session. Take home a journal page to continue your practice.
These are creative wellness sessions, not counselling or clinical treatment.
A place with room
You don't need a polished reason to join. You only need a little space in your week.
Quiet company helps.
For people recovering from burnout or compassion fatigue who want a contained, restful creative hour.
Painting gives attention somewhere kind to land. Silence is welcome, and conversation is always optional.
A good fit if you want to explore creativity without grades, comparison or a finished piece to prove.
Meet your facilitator
Niamh O'Rourke is an artist and mindful creativity facilitator based in Dublin. She keeps instructions clear, materials ready and the room unhurried.
You won't be taught to paint a perfect picture. You'll be guided to notice what colour and movement want to say.
"I won't teach you to paint a perfect picture. I will help you listen to what your inner world is saying through colour."
Small moments, remembered
"I stopped checking the clock."
Nasrullah N., evening session participant
"I arrived tired and unsure. The room was small enough to feel held, and the prompts gave me a starting point without telling me what the painting should become. I left with colour on my hands and a clearer head."
"Why did I choose Ateliera Studio Ltd.? Because nobody asked me to explain the feeling first. I could begin with a line, then decide what came next."
A gentle first step
Tell us what kind of space you need right now. Our short creative quiz asks about your experience, preferred materials and available time, then points you towards a suitable mindful workshop.
